Prayer Ministry

Is God calling you to be a part of the prayer ministry? Informational/training meetings will be held July 7 and 14 for those interested in joining or continuing in the prayer ministry at St. Peter’s. Please put either one of the dates on your calendar now. Childcare will be provided as well as a pizza dinner for all. For more information, contact Glandion Carney (706-1970 or glandionwcarney@gmail.com), Nonie Brown (913-3062), or David Hudspeth (565-0364 or dhudspeth@bham.rr.com). We would love to meet with you over coffee and help you discern your next step.

    Bendiciones,

    P. Luis Tavárez Tejeda.

This is simply a translation of the above post by Father Luis Tavárez of Madrid so that more of our members can read it and pray for him without resorting to the dictionary.

    Father Luis says:

I am an Anglican priest living in Madrid. The Lord has put it on my heart to start an Anglican congregation related to the Anglican Church in North America, the new province.
A year ago I renounced the Episcopal Church. Now I am in search of a diocese or province that might want to support the missionary work in Madrid and Spain. I ask for your prayers for this project, that the Lord will help to find the necessary funds to start an Anglican mission.

    Blessings,

    Fr. Luis Tavárez Tejada.
