Service of Prayer and Healing

As you know well, indicated by your desire to be in this prayer network, that when one is sick the church is charged with gathering the elders that we might pray over and anoint the sick in the name of the Lord. This Sunday evening we will be gathering the elders including our most senior elder, Bishop John Rucyahana. He will preach in this special service of praise and healing. After we commission Prayer Team members (the many who labor with you under your same spiritual covering in prayer ministry), we will beseech the sick, whether the infirmity is due to sin, physical illness, emotional distress or spiritual oppression, to come forward for prayer. Bishop John will join us as the chief intercessor and be among those anointing for healing.

We hope to fill the church at 5:00 this Sunday evening, October 4. 2009. As a member of the wider ministry of prayer, give much prayer before missing this event. Together let us honor John and be obedient to our church to gather when people are in need of prayer. If you attend two services on one day this year, let this be the day.
