Children’s Ministry

The mission of St. Peter’s Children’s ministry is to bring kids to Christ and teach them how to follow Him. We envision to provide interactive, fun, energetic, and relevant Bible teaching so that children will gain knowledge of Christ and then learn how to follow Him in their daily lives. We have a strong focus on outreach and mission and believe that kingdom work happens as much out of the building as it does here on Sunday mornings. We also strive to provide, not just a children’s ministry, but a ministry to the entire family. Come check us out!

We have events and classes going on throughout the week, including Sunday mornings, Wednesday nights, and various retreats throughout the year. We also provide a well-staffed nursery on Sunday mornings from 8:45 until 12:00 and at all church-wide functions. Contact the Children’s Pastor, Mary Elizabeth Jenkins, for more information.

Boys Movie Night! All boys in K-6th grade are invited to a movie night on October 25th from 5pm-7pm. We will be watching “Facing the Giants”, eating pizza, and having fun hanging out! Sign up outside of Room 100 or email Mary Elizabeth Jenkins. If you are interested in hanging out with us and helping with the boys that night, please contact Mary Elizabeth as well.
