As We ForgiveOn February 9th and 10th, we are very excited to be screening the documentary “As We Forgive” at Samford University and here at St. Peter’s. The filmmaker, Laura Waters Hinson, will be joined by Bishop John Rucyhana at a screening at Samford on Monday the 9th, and here at St. Peter’s on Tuesday the 10th at 6:00 PM. This award-winning documentary centers on the lives of several Rwandans who are experiencing true forgiveness and reconciliation through the Lord’s presence in Rwanda. As part of Tuesday night’s screening, we will be providing a spaghetti dinner and reaching out to local college students. Please make plans to attend, as will not want to miss this film and rare time with Laura and Bishop John. If you would like to be a part of a team helping with dinner or hospitality, please contact Mary Elizabeth. For more information on the film, go to www.asweforgivemovie.com.

    Mary Elizabeth,
This is an incredible story and I hope there is massive turnout for the viewing. I am encouraging many of my B’ham friends to come to this. Could you give the details for each of the viewings (time, location, etc.)? Also, are Laura and Bishop John present for both viewings? I also don’t want to bombard St Peters with too many for the viewing at your church that includes the dinner - should I steer folks to the Samford site or tell them to come after the dinner? One more thing: here is an interview with Laura by Gideon Strauss, editor of Comment - : http://www.cardus.ca/comment/article/26
This may be helpful with your promotion.
    Thanks very much,
