Cornerstone Festival

This summer, our youth will travel to Bushnell, Il. to see countless bands, hear inspiring and challenging messages fo faith, and camp out in a field all to be a part of Cornerstone 09. Cornerstone is a Christian music festival that brings together many (hundreds) Christian artists and some incredible experiences for teens across the nation. Along with the incredible music they will hear, there are many seminars that will challenge their thinking and the expression of their faith in this world. There are also many times of prayer and worship to allow them time to press into what they are hearing and the inspiration of what they learn. If you have a teen, please consider their participation in this trip. June 29 - July 4

I attended C-Stone ‘02, ‘03 and ‘04. It is a phenomenal festival/concert/seminar experience. It opened my eyes to the astounding variety and beauty of the individual experience of God.

Encourage the youth to explore new music styles and to just hang out and talk with the people walking down the dirt roads. (If you haven’t been, you walk A LOT.) There are several stages besides Main Stage.

I loved it and wish I had the time to go again.

There are some people who do stupid things. This is true wherever large numbers of young adults gather. The fest is an amazing experience. and If you forget anything, there is a Super Walmart in Bushnell.
