The Mortgage Bailout

To lay the debt of failed speculators and irresponsible homebuyers (who attempted to live well beyond their personal means) at the feet of bill paying and law abiding people is a crime. It is more sophisticated than breaking and entering but it has the same result – to take something from the lawful and to give it to an offender who has no legal or moral claim to it. It is akin to rigging the lottery for someone who should otherwise be incarcerated. A country that embraces crime for the greater good has lost its true north.

  1. St. James Murphy Says:

Obama, Geitner, et. al., practice poor sophistry as they attempt to justify their pandering for votes from the unfortunate and the unwary. The rule of law, not to mention the order created by God and interwoven betwixt the physical and spiritual worlds, are toast (or will quickly become so) as their grip on the forbidden fruit of power (Garden of Eden anyone?) becomes tighter and more repleat. Bailouts are just the beginning, more atrocities will logically come because this administration’s policies are failed at the gate. Maranantha! pax, jim+
